New Town Studio is the design and architecture practice of Christopher Snow.
Christopher began his career with Jonathan Woolf where he was responsible for the multi-award winning Brick Leaf House in London’s Hampstead. This was followed by time in the studios of Allies and Morrison, and most recently Tony Fretton Architects where he was project architect for a string of prestigious projects on sensitive and historic sites. Tietgens Ægrelse in the royal centre of Copenhagen, the new town hall of Deinze, Belgium and the new Tower Wharf Café at the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, a World Heritage Site.
In 2011, Christopher placed 2nd from over 200 entries in the DECC and National Grid Pylon Competition with his 'Totem' design. Following this success, Christopher founded New Town Studio in Harlow new town, equidistant between London and Cambridge.
Christopher is registered to practice as an architect with the Architects Registration Board and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He has taught architecture as a visiting critic at Kingston, London Metropolitan and Robert Gordon Universities and in 2013-2014 will lead a BA Architecture design studio at Kingston University.
